| New Direction Offers National Equipping Experience for Pastors & Leaders "Sexual Identity & the Local Church: Equipping for Effective Engagement" is focused on interactive, participant centered learning. Rather than spoon-feeding tired, black and white, theoretical answers, this experience will be a catalyst for courageous conversations, critical thinking and strategic implementation to make the Canadian church a safer place for integral mission and effective ministry with those addressing personal matters of sexual identity. With a strong relational focus, participants will engage real case studies, wrestle with the use of bridge-building language, and analyze and address attitudinal barriers within their communities.
