Biography: Donna Carter has a unique ability to synthesize life experience into digestible life lessons. She is much sought after as a speaker in Canada and the United States because of her clarity, humor and the light-bulb moments she triggers for women seeking help on their spiritual journeys. Donna lives in Calgary, Canada, with her husband, Randy, who is a youth speaker, and her two daughters, Kendall and Kevann. Having studied and worked as an interior designer for 26 years, Donna has chosen to devote the rest of her career life to helping women, through her speaking and writing, to build better lives. Her first book 10 Smart Things Women Can Do to Build a Better Life was released in the fall of 2007 and is being distributed in five countries. The Carters work for a non-profit organization, Straight Talk Ministries, which they founded in 1994 to pursue their passion of helping people find faith and apply it to everyday life.
