DELTA Ministries International is an interdenominational evangelical organization that supports U.S. and international local churches by specializing in Short-term and Mid-term missions. Since 1979, Woman and ChildDELTA has trained and sent over 6,100 individuals, from over 550 church mission teams to 72 countries to help fulfill God's Great Commission.
With 28 years of cross-cultural ministry experience, DELTA specializes in a variety of services that help churches ensure their short-term mission team is prepared and ready to serve when they arrive on the field. These services include, but are not limited to: Logistical Support, Pre-field Orientation, Comprehensive Training, On-Field Management and Debriefing. At DELTA, we believe effective training is more than a packaged product and that is why we are committed to provide a personal trainer to facilitate a training weekend at your church.
As a Christ-centered organization, all ministry functions exist for the goal of bringing people into a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. This is accomplished by sending hundreds of Christian representatives each year, from across the U.S. (a national impact) to over 70 countries around the world who participate in evangelism, discipleship, Bible training, racial reconciliation, providing health care, addressing cultural issues faced by youth and families and much more. Those who already know Christ and serve through DELTA Ministries are also exposed to training and an environment that strengthens their relationship with Christ. They learn to trust Him for provision, protection and open doors to share the Gospel while serving in their ministry location.
DELTA maintains a strong Biblical base and has conservative roots. Anyone can apply, but in order for an individual to be accepted and placed on a team, he or she must supply adequate references, and agree to the precepts of the DELTA Statement of Faith.
DELTA Ministries International assists the local church by training and deploying short-term mission teams throughout the world to assist national pastors, on-field missionaries, church planters and others who request a team with their ongoing ministry efforts and long-term ministry goals. DELTA's philosophy of being field-driven ensures each team meets a valid need on the field.
