At the core of all VST basic degree/diploma programmes is a standard complement of core courses; all programmes are built on this core and upon completion of the Foundational Courses, other courses can be added to frame specific degrees. The Foundational courses allow a process of discernment, permitting students to survey all available facets of theological education and to test their aptitude for their chosen ministry, whether in ordained ministry, as lay leaders or to incorporate their faith and spirituality in other professions.
