The purpose of Halifax Christian Academy (HCA) is to provide a biblically based education that is academically excellent, thereby developing Christlikeness in all aspects of life. Halifax Christian Academy, a not-for-profit private Christian school, began in 1975 to provide parents with an educational alternative for their children's schooling. From the beginning, Halifax Christian Academy has delivered its curriculum from a biblical world view. The staff seeks to encourage students to enter into a personal relationship with their Creator through faith in Jesus Christ and to develop Christ-like character. From this focus, then, flows the pursuit of academic excellence where students are challenged to perform to the maximum of their potential
