“The do-it-yourself method of making records is the only way that makes sense to me. No one else can capture the vision I have for a specific sound. There are something’s in art you just can’t communicate”, Scott explains. After months of juggling recording options with various producers and studios, Orr ended up taking the wheel himself. “People who work in the music industry make it out to be a dangerous proposition for an artist to 'go it alone' and write, produce and market a recording by oneself”, he says. However, Orr’s personal ambition, however, has willed him to new heights with this project.

theBetween: the concept that we in life, meaning everyone, have one and only one thing in common. We are all born and we all die. Everything in the middle is life, and that is what we are all exposed to… no one can avoid it. The one thing all of mankind can relate to together, the only thing that everyone has in common is that we are all here… living life. theBetween know this to be true; life is wonderful, hard, scary, breathtaking, overwhelming and absolutely amazing. We can all identify with life. What better inspiration to draw upon.

We are The Risen. We’re a generation that’s not satisfied with the status-quo. A people not settling for the average, everyday-to-day, nine-to-five, gravy train our age group seems to be known for. We want the best for us, we want the best for our nation, and we want the best for the people in our circle of influence. We play a lot of Rock Style music, but we also play Worship music on the fly. We’ve released an EP in November, and we’re going back to record the rest when the money comes in. But we’re relying on God’s provisions right now.

The September 2007 release of Going Home also marked the beginning of the choir’s year-long journey, commemorating two decades of energetic ministry. Through worldwide performances, like their spring 2008 missions trip to Poland, TMC continues to inspire and bring on the praise.
