As Jesus commanded all Christians to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…”(Matthew 28:19-20), EZ is taking up this command seriously and going beyond conventional standards to connect with the world.

Hiram’s inspirational vocal abilities have comforted audiences all over the world and he continues to travel far and wide to spread the word of Jesus. Hiram has often been a featured vocalist with such luminaries as Billy Graham, Tony Campolo, John MacArthur, John Wesley White and the late Terry Winters. His most memorable moment took place in Ottawa where he performed for an audience of over 30,000 believers and was joined on the platform by Mother Theresa. The small industrial border-city of Sarnia, Ontario, Canada was hardly a hiphop Mecca in the late eighties. Yet Ill Seer and a few select friends such as the Beat Mason, discovered Public Enemy’s “It Takes A Nation of Millions” with help from Detroit television and MuchMusic’s “Rapcity”. He was hooked on the flourishing young genre immediately. Later, he fronted an eclectic alternafunkpunkhiphop outfit named The Chevrons until their outlandish success drove them apart (or something like that). During his Bachelor studies he independently delved into poetry from every historical period and style, ancient to modern, freeverse to pentameter. Upon completion of his first degree he decided to pursue a Masters in Theology at the University of Cambridge, England. In a new and strange country, he decided to once again grace the stage, this time for an Acid-Jazz ensemble called Octopus. The other emcee in the group, Ninko, later introduced him to Bee109 in a cipher in the middle of Market Square. They quickly realized a common passion and formed a hiphop group, Co-Lab.Oration, with emcees Ninko, Mad Prolific, Bee109, producers AxWax, Bee109, and Rich t (Michaelis Constant), and DJ Chris Groove.
His passionate vocals and inspired lyrics are given flight by his total command of the guitar, which at times sounds like an entire orchestra, owing to his use of the JamMan, a live looping device that allows him to more fully realize his onstage ambition ...

His music transcends generations with expressive lyrics, lush vocals and elegant delivery. With comparisons to Luther Vandross, Seal and The Winans, Masri is carving out a name for himself as a soulful musician with timeless appeal. The foundation of Mark’s artistry digs deep into his childhood influences when he began singing in his church choir. Mark’s talent was considered way beyond his years, and he was immediately embraced by the gospel community. In 2000, Mark released his debut self-titled album Mark Masri, which garnered a Juno nomination for “Best Gospel Record.”
