Days of Rain was formed in 1995 with the songwriting team of Curtis and Dave coming together the following year. The musical chemistry between the two has led to the writing of many of the band's strongest songs.

Not wanting to become stagnant, the band has jumped between and combined many different musical genres. Beginning as a Post-grunge alternative band way back in 95, the group has been moving in and out of various genres such as folk, alternative, pop-rock, blues, and straight out rock. The band is currently playing a blend of folk and alternative music with undertones of jazz and acoustic rock.
